Engine Cooling problem
1997 Honda Civic Automatic

The thermometer has been changed twice, and i have a new radiator. the head gaskets (?) have also been changed but the temperature gauge continues to move up and down, mostly moves up when the car is at a standstill, and back down once the car is in motion. Also the car isnt steaming, as if the car is running hot. What could possibly be the problem?

Him there,

This sounds like an air flow issue through the radiator, check that the fan is working and drawing air, and also check that the A/C condenser is not blocked with leaf litter and restricting air flow, start here.
