1997 Honda Civic engine rattle

When my car engine runs at 2100 rpms I'm getting a rattling noise under the valve cover. I've also seen my gas milage go from 32 mph to 27 mph. Any ideas?

Hi milohaste,

Most probably the valve clearances needs adjustment.
