I was sitting at a stop light and when I stepped off the brake the car would not move. The car was on and all the gears shift correctly but the car would just not move. We pushed it into a parking lot and let it sit for a while then tried it again and the car would drive for a short time then stop again. We checked the transmission fluid and found it was bone dry and was actually burned a little. We put a little over a quart of transmission fluid in it and let it run through the gears for a little while. We attempted to drive it around the block but it stopped again. What could some possible problems be? We bought this car about a wk ago and was told that the car had been serviced on a regular schedule.
