I'm getting a rapid popping noise when I accelarate, especially in my lower gears and it is more pronounced when the engine is cold. According to the help sections this is most likely a failing of the camshaft or related components. What is the average cost for a repair. Thank you.

You may be hearing a mis-fire. This could be due to the timing belt off a tooth. Please bring the car in asap and have it checked out. You may of not done any damage as of yet.
