Hey I have a Civic LX that is not running. It ran fine and then just quite for no apparent reason. There is 12 volts coming out of the coil but no spark at the plugs. I just replaced the ignition control module and still no difference. I have had it running poorly since it quite but then it quites again. Any time it is going to start the check engine light comes on then the motor quites and the lights go off. I am just looking for any ideas on the situation. Any advice you have would be great. Thanks

Hi yourmechanic,

If the rotor is turning, I would suggest replacing the ignition coil.
