1997 Honda Civic 4 cyl Manual 215000 miles

The backlight for my speedometer stopped working all of a sudden. I believe that the brake lights and the light for the license plate are linked to this and those are working, so i'm assuming it is not the fuse. Can you tell me what could be causing the problem?

Hi michelle,

Should be the bulb that is fused or is not properly seated. You need to remove the meter cluster to check or replace it.
