Hello, thanks for reading. I have a 96 Civic Coupe and cannot get the passenger window to roll up. The passenger side switch will roll it down but not up and the driver side will not roll it up or down. Heres what I’ve done to attempt to fix.

1. I have an extra master (driver side) switch which makes no difference.
2. I replaced the motor and regulator with a new part, no difference.
3. Checked all window related fuses.

Any ideas? I'm thinking of replacing the passenger switch but haven yet. Is there a relay some where that could be out?
Thanks again.

Hi andrain,

From the symptom description, I believe the passenger side switch is bad. When this occurs, you would not be able to operate the switch from the driver master switch.

If this is a 4 door model, use any of the rear door switches to test.
