1996 Honda Civic Water leaking at distributor

Engine Cooling problem
1996 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 184k miles

On my way home last night the car began overheating. I found that right at the base of where the distributor goes into the head, water is leaking.
Is this a cracked head, or is there a seal there that may be leaking?

Hi jgrizzlye,

There are no seals there and the most likely cause would be the heater hose which is connected to the head just below the distributor.
