I have a '96 Honda Civic LX, when I turn my steering wheel to the right I hear a squeaking sound, when I turn the wheel to the left, there is no squeaking. Also, the squeaking is noticeable when I apply the brakes too.
Any ideas?

is it just a short squeak? a long squeak? or a continuous pulsing squeak like the tire rubbing on a high spot once a revolution?

The squeaking is long. I can actually feel it while I turn the steering wheel.
