1996 Honda Civic over heating when stoped

My honda is over heating after I drive about 50 miles I have to keep putting anit freeze in it. It will over heat when I sit at a light but when I start going it will go back down when I am at a light it will go as high as it can on the gague.

Make sure the cooling fan is in good shape and that the cooling fans are coming on and turning at a good rate of speed.

The fins arnt bent or dirty on the radiator are they?
