1996 Honda Civic HX D16Y5 162000 miles

I have a 1996 honda civic hx d16y5 with 162000 miles. The back tires keep wearing a lot on the inside and you can actually see the wheels stick out a little from the back. Is this just an alignment problem or are some parts needing a replacement?

Coils sag over time. Can be the cause, but it should be fixable with an alignment. Check the rear tires for scalloping, bumpy wear patern. That would mean struts!
