Engine Performance problem
1996 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

hi guys
got a question why would in a certain cylinder the prongs on the plug break. Seems to be something repetitave =S
and is there any way I can correct an overly rich fuel mixture without the use of a piggy back ecu?

What prongs are you referring to? The ground strap?

Over fueling can be caused by a few things.

-bad fuel regulator
-injector(s) stuck open
-a sensor out of range
-mechanical or ignition timing is off.

What I was referring to r the electrodes on the spark plug. Not the one in the center the 2 outer ones that look like prongs. These prongs break from the plug I put in a certain cylinder. Hope my explanation helps =

p.S. I see a website that calls what im refferin to as the "copper core"
