1996 Honda Civic fan makes noise

i have a 96 honda civic that i just bought for a commuter car, and when i go to turn on the heater/air conditioner, it works but the fan is making a load sound like maybe there is something stuck in the fan. what could it be?

The blower motor needs to be replaced.
