I was told by the dealership that it would cost me $3,500 to have my engine rebuilt after seizing. IS this a fare price or should I shop others (not the honda dealership

Hi there,

It will not hurt at all to shop around. Honda's are expensive to rebuild and if using genuine parts you could expect to pay around that $$. If you shop around you may do better with a change over re-co unit.
