hi when i turn the engine over the distributor cap sparks and when its damp it wont start .i have to use wd40 to dispell damp then it starts ok .it then drives ok but the ignition light remains on can you help

Replace the distributor cap and do a ignition tune-up (rotor, cap, wires, plugs)
