My son in law was jumpstarting the Honda and the Honda battery exploded. Luckily he had just turned and walked away when it happend so no damage to him. He went and got a new battery and as soon as he connected it, the windshield wipers turned on even though the car was off, and the car would not start. I am supposing something happened to the electrical system. Any ideas on where to start looking for the cause. Thanks.

Hi kenhat,

I would suggest checking the main fuses underhood first.
Check the grounding straps for frayed or burnt signs.
