My vehicle speed sensor needs to be replaced but I was wondering if the speed sensor has to be transmission specific for my car. I have a 1995 civic ex with an automatic transmission. Some places i have found say i can use either and some say for an automatic or a manual. Does it matter which one i use? Can i take one off of a manual?

Hi teamdevotion24,

They are all similar and interchangeable. VSS from Accord can also be used.
