1995 Honda Civic Taps out at 60MPH w/ shakes in steering

Basically the above i'm buying a car 1995 honda civic for about 1200 dollars car is in decent shape little bit of body dmg nothing major it runs fine talked to owner he said doesn't go above 60 I test drove sounds fine steering shakes a bit but nothing else really i'm thinking ignition coil and will need the time to order since i'm stationed in germany. Thanks in advance

Hi armylife1,

Steering wobbling at 60 mph are usually caused by unbalanced tires. Get them balanced and the problem should be solved.

Why do you want to replace the igniton coil?

Engine not running over 60 mph could be due to many factors and it is best to analyse and find the cause before replacing things that is going to waste.
