I had my A/C recharged a few weeks ago. It seemed to be running fine for a couple of weeks. I am now in a hotter climate and tried to put on the A/C on a higher setting, but got a squealing sound after a few minutes. I turned it down and it doesn't seem to happen. Any idea as to what it might be? How quickly it needs to be fixed?
And what it might cost to fix it? I would like the option of A/C.

Have the comp drive belt tension checked, if they fitted a new belt it would have stretched a little and it may need re tensioning.
