1995 honda civic will not stay running. When I turn the key to the on position it cranks and strats fine.
As soon as I let go of the key it springs back too far and cuts off the car. Do I have to replace the whole ignition lock assembly or is there something else that I can replace.

Hi cotimorris,

Nohing to do with the key. You only need to replace the ignition switch attached to the base of the key lock. It is attached with 2 small screws. Remove the steering column cover and you can get at it. Disconnect battery terminals first.
