For awhile now I have been dealing with a high idle when I start my car. After letting my car sit overnight when I start it for the first time in the morning it will have a high idle and then low real quick then back up. It will continue for 2 minutes until the car is warmed up. Is this my idle control valve acting up? Is my problem expensive to fix?

Most likely it is the IACV acting up.

You can try servicing it first with throttle body cleaner. Spray into the idle port before the throttle plate, that is where your IACV is. If necessary, you may remove it and try to clean it out as well.

It wouldn't hurt to do a throttle body service as well.
