My Honda Civic won't start. When the key is turned to the on position all of the dash lights come on as normal and you can hear the fuel pump running. When the key is turned to the start position everything goes off and nothing happens (no clicking). The car acts like the battery has been removed; the clock resets and the radio presets are all lost. What could be the problem? Where should I look first?

Check battery voltage, if that is fine, it'd look at the starter motor and the control circuit.
