Well, I have a 1995 Honda civic with 275000 miles on it, and I was trying to show off and be cool by putting her to the floor and get up to sped as fast as possible, and I would top it out and it would run at red line for a few minutes at a time. Basically I beat the living hell out of it, and now it sounds really funny and it is shaking alot more than normal and there's this plooping noise coming out the end of the exhaust pipes. I really don't wanna have to buy a new engine for it, so if there's something else that might be wrong with it that would avoid me from buying a new engine I would really love to know what it is.
