1995 Honda Civic car is running very heavy

My car has been running very heavy lately. i know i have a lot of miles on it. but it feels like im driving while the ebrake is on. Im getting married an i cant afford to fix it right now. but i need it to go to work. im just looking for a salution to fix it myself

The symptom description does not give us much to work with.

Have you checked the spark plugs?
Are the brakes stuck? Try releasing the park brakes an pushing the vehicle to see if it moves freely on a flat surface.
Was any repairs carried out prior to this happening?
Is the engine misfiring?
