I was trying to change the front pads on my 1995 civic. The left side went fine but on the right the caliper is stuck on the mounting pin. I thought I freed it up but what is now happening is the mounting pin is moving instead of the caliper swinging on it. Any ideas how to free it up and does the roation of the mounting pin present any issues.

thanks for any advice.

Save the headach, the pins are shot, and rebuilt units will save a lot of trouble, the inner seals arent far behind to fail anyway. Change Both calipers!

Depends on how much you want to pay, you can buy loaded calipers, they are complete with pads and hardware, just bolt on, and bleed!
