1995 Honda Civic Automatic gearbox shifting too late

Hey guys, thanks again for taking the time for this question. Ok so my car has a problem everytime i drive the car would be stuck on 1 gear and the rpm's would go to 6000 then chop and jump to 2 and rev up again go to third and so on. Anyone have any ideas on what could be happening?

Hi Marcopell1,

One of the main and possible cause of late upshifts is a stuck modulator valve.

Do you have any other issues apart from this?

When was the trans fluid last replaced?
