I was driving my civic & I noticed the air wasn't getting as cold as it normally does so I turned it up and just figured 110 degrees in vegas heat was the reason when suddenly I heard a pop under my car like a rock popped under it then the air went to straight heat the noise under the car started again like something had came aloose and flew off then the noise went away. When I got home I checked under the hood & the belts where all still good there was coolant in the car and there was no smoke or overheating I'm lost is it my compressor or what else could it be

Hi 1210nn,

You need to perform some test to find out what is wrong.

Does the compressor engage when the A/C is turnd ON?
Is there any freon in the A/C system?
