On occasion my speedometer will stop working while driving down the road in my manual 94 civic. It either shows the correct speed or zero. Sometimes it flickers in between the two as if it is barely getting a "signal" from the transmission or something. I haven't tried anything to fix it yet. The odometer also stops working whenever the speedometer shows zero. Also, the cruise doesn't work. The green light on the on/off switch on the dash works, but nothing happens when the set button is pushed on the steering wheel. I have read that pulling up on the clutch could fix this and haven't tried that yet. Where do I start with these problems? What sounds like the source of the problem is?

Hi zbyergle,

Replace the speed sensor and everything would fall into place.
