Spark plug firing order on distributor cap

after finding one of my sparkplug wire casings melted inside i replaced all plugs wires distrubutor and head gasket. Ive double checked the firing order but still cant get the car to turn over. could this be a timing issue and if so ....what next?

once you have the correct firing order find out when the piston its in the upper position on cilynder 1 and check if the rotor its ponting to that spark plug.. or you can do it the easy way:
Move or rotate the complete set of cables in the same order one spot at the time and crank the engine until you find the correct position do you know what i mean?
