I am a woman and do not want to be takien advange of so. How much should this repair cost? What should the flat labor cost per hour be? I would like to do some price comparison first, so I would like to know what questions I should ask?

an average estimate is below , if you get a quote higher than this it does not necessarily mean you are getting taken advantage of, they may be using better replacement parts and/or their flat rate charge may be a bit more. you can judge it yourself based off of the estimate below though, obviously if they are charging say $500 more than the estimate below than that is way overpriced.. make sure that when they remove the cylinder head to replace the gasket that they test the cylinder head itself for cracks/warpage.
