Hi. At first I thought that I was having transmission issues, but then figured it's probably somehting with the throttle. I was driving my honda the other day, and it was warm in the car, but cold outside, so I decided to turn on the air conditioning. A little while later, when I was coming up to a stoplight, I let off the gas, and applied the brake, but the car wanted to keep going. I had to turn off the ignition to stop the car. Then, I went to turn it on again, and it revved right up, no allowing me to put it into drive. Finally I was able to drive it, but the throttle seemed to be sticking, cause the rpms wouldn't let up when I let off the gas. After I got to my destination, I parked the car for over 5 hours. When I got back in, it drove fine.

Do you think the A/C had anything to do with this? What might be the problem? Is there something that has to be lubricated by the throttle?

Could be the idle air control valve/motor/speed controller, throttle position sensor or the throttle plate is binding or a kinked on the acc. cable-investigate
