1993 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

Every time when I press on the brake, the brake tends to push back onto my foot and makes a clunk sound while my car shakes to a complete stop. I had my friend check on my brakes and he said it was fine. could it be the steering rack? tie rod?

You need to replace your front brakes. Specifically your brake rotors.
