1993 Honda Civic gasoline caming uot of the gas cap

when I start the motor gasolie start coming out from
gas tank cap,when I turn the motor off there is a lot off air coming out off the tank....need help

sounds like you may have a bad gas cap building up too much pressure. either that or the check valve on the gas tank is plugged up and not letting the vapors out.
