My Civic has lately been stalling randomly while drving down the road. The SES light comes on but goes right back out and I have been told by two garages that they can't get a code unless the light is on. When the car stalls sometime it will start right back up and sometimes it takes a couple of tries. It seems that if I cycle the fuel pump it starts faster. I recently replaced the Coil and that didn't solve the problem. Could this be the ICM or a Main fuel relay.

Hi Ebell88,

When the CEL shows, data freeze frmes are recorded so it is possible to retrive the DTC.

Bridge the connector, turn ignition switch on and count the flashes of the CEL and come back with the code. Long flashes = 10 while short flashes = 1.
