Air Conditioning problem
1992 Honda Civic 6 cyl Automatic? Miles

when I turn my air conditioning on it turns off my car or it will bog out first and then shut off. Also we replaced the speed sensor because out speedo wouldnt work at all and now it only works less then half the time and even when it starts working it never makes it working all the way to the destination working.

Hi princesscianni,

If the speed sensor is a new unit, check the wire connections. It could also be faulty out of the box.

The engine stalling could be due to a few possibilities.

1. Idling speed too low due to dirty throttle body or IAC.
2. Engine not in good running condition, such as bad spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Valve clearance too tight, bad head gaskets.
3. Bad compressor
