1992 Honda Civic Cannot control Idle Speed

Engine Performance problem
1992 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

engine idles very high and oscillates high and low.
It continues even when the engine is warmed up. Putting it in drive does not lower the idle speed. It
started all of a sudden.

A vacumn laek has developed and you need to check the source. Check for dislodged vacumn hoses. If none fould, chek the Fast Idle Thermo valve located under the throttle body.
