Hi I have had a 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback CX for about 1 year and a half now. (And it is a daily driver car) Recently, it has began to give me trouble while I am driving to school or going to work. It takes forever to accelerate to 20 mph and it feels like I am just revving until the clutch catches up and it starts accelerating again. Basically shifting from 1-2 feels bad 2-3 feels better and 3-5 feels normal. I am not car savvy at all so I can use all the help I can get. Thank you.[img:374f0a4379]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/514318_115_1.jpg[/img:374f0a4379]

Sounds like the clutch is failing and is slipping. I would get a mechanic to ensure it is the clutch slipping before replacement however.
