I forgot to remove the battery cable before removing the alternator. I got a spark and then there was no power to everything. I checked all the fuses to see if any were burned, but I didn't see any. Is there a main circuit breaker or relay that may have shorted out or did the the cable leading to the alternator from the battery shorted out?

I know you said, you checked the fuses, but how did you test them? Check them with a fuse tester or test light.9/10 this blows the battery fuse.
