i have inharreted this car that has a few problems. one of which is that it seems that you need to let the cultch come almost to the very top before it will start to engauge. and that as you are going thru the gears it takes a little for the gears to fully engauge. is this a clutch, transmision, cable problem or somthing else? i have pertty good mechanical abbillity but have never done any thing with a front wheel drive car. thanks for your help.

Your clutch is due for replacement, there is no adjustment on this car.
