I was driving about 80 mph in 4th for about 2 min. before I realized my stupidity. Shifted into 5th, 30 sec later a loud bang and engine died. Did I throw a rod? checked the timing belt and it's still in tact. Now it will crank over and over (all starting systems have been replaced within a year) but no engine engagement.

Hi there,

Start with a compression test, do this and report the readings.
