Can you have a bad ignighter in the distributer if you are getting a good spark from the coil? I have no spark at the plugs but do have spark from coil to a ground.

is the spark arcing when starting or you are checking it with key on
if its arcing when cranking then you need a cap and rotor
if the other way then you need the distributor
