some time ago I went to a discount mechanic when my car had ignition problems.

He replaced the wiring and shroud that run down the steering column. after that the car started but it has had no heater fan.

I live in a colder climate and the heater is pretty important to defrost the windshield.

My question: Is there a chance it might be an easy fix I could handle, like some wire that he forgot to connect? If so how would I figure out how to do it? Finances are an issue and I want to avoid a big diagnostic/repair bill.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try checking the fuses first. If that checks out, pull the blower motor harness off the motor and check for power and ground.
