1989 Honda Civic V8 Front Wheel Drive Manual? Miles

I found a loose belt, I dont think it belongs to the motor alternator or power steering. Its towards the front drivers side just behind the horn. The car runs fine but I dont know exactly what it is though the air conditioning doesnt work, could it be that belt? And if so or not can I remove it?

Yes it does sound like it is the AC belt, but I have a question for you. Is the belt damaged, if so check the AC compressor and idler pulley to make sure that they turn freely. If they don't you need to be fixed prior to putting a new belt on, otherwise the new belt will get damaged when the car is started.

It you don't need the AC, then you can remove it.
