I take the freeway in the morning after a cold night, power is good up to 40 then it starts to act like fuel isn't combusting, it sputters and slowes down sometimes, is arcing going on in the distributer? Could moisture be causing problems? When I take the freeway home in the afternoon I'm reaching 70 mph no power cut outs. What's going on?

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, bogging etc. Could be caused by one of the following below.

Inspect and test all the following listed below and get back with some results

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.

I replaced the Fuel Pump, it was leaking some fuel, and replaced distributor cap, coil and wires. Problem solved.
