My 1987 Honda Civic has a 1.5 L engine with a carburator. When I try to start the engine the RPMs seem faster than it should be and takes a few minutes to warm up. After the engine warms up, the car runs excellent. I have other parts from another similar car. I hope someone has some suggestions I can try.

Thank you!

Try adjusting the choke plate-could be sticking or misadjusted fast idle cam-
