Transmission problem
1984 Honda Civic Front Wheel Drive

clutch cable retracts into firewal,causing cable not to engage properly. I can't figure it out 85-90% of the time i can't shift properly need help! please.

Hi bobby,

Check if the firewall is intact or the clutch cable base is cracked.
Check if the clutch cable housing is damaged.
Check if the cable stopper at transmission end is in good condition and clutch cable is properly adjusted.
