Engine Cooling problem
1983 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 131k miles

I have limited car knowledge although more then some. Is it easy to change a water pump by myself or should I take it to a shop? I got a quote for $212 but the part is only $21 so I am thinking I might try it by myself. How hard is it and is there anywhere I can go to figure out how?

Hi vlstatv,

It depends on the engine variant, one requires the removal of timing belt while the other is quite simple and straight forward.
