1982 Honda Civic Car is having a hard time starting

My honda is having a hard time starting up/turning over. Once it turns over the engine shakes and wants to die. If I am driving the car up a hill it chokes and wants to die. If I am at a stop light is might die as well.

Hi jjarv12,

Seems the engine is misfiring badly and it could be caused by the following:
1. Bad spark plug, wires, distributor cap and rotor.
2. Fuel delivery.
3. Engine compression.
4. Vacumn leakages.
