Hi! What is wrong with my car if the D gear is blinking and my car won't shift gears...

Hi dbachmann,

An error has been detected by tyhe PCM and the blinkinig indicator light is to inform you of the problem.

It can range from a faulty sensor to a bad PCM or transmission assy.

You would need a scan tool to retrieve the trouble code to proceed with rectification.
