1999 Honda Accord 104,000 miles- I bought this car used last Sept. I recently have had the timing belt, water pump replaced along with a major tune up, but I am still only getting 19- 20 miles per gallon and I'm not using "cheap gas". Tires have also been checked for air pressure. Any idea what could be causing the poor mileage?
Thanks

Some thoughts are that the timing was not set right after installation of the timing belt. Did you have the air filter changed?

Things that affect MPG are types of tires, tire pressure, brakes that are sticking, alignment, fuel filter, o2 sensors, cat converter come to mind. I know there are others.
